One of my favorite locations on the Isle of Skye, if not of overall Scotland - is Elgol. A small village in the middle of nowhere. It is not the harbour, it is the coastline which captivates me most. The large pebble stones and the beach might not fit best for bathing, but reveal excellent material for building stone towers - or taking one home for memory. Mine is located directly at my garden gate and always remembers me of the three visits.
