Dragonflies can be enervating photo objects due to their restlessness (especially when realizing an approaching lens). These two Ruddy Darters found at a walk at Glendalough in County Wicklow had better to do than escaping my macro lens - which opened time enough to get close, adjust focus and exposure and get some fast shots.
