Just a part of "The Burren", this stony area is reminding of a moon's landscape more than feeling on Earth. Fascinating on the other side - especially the vast amount of plants finding their way in this inhospitable landscape of limestone. Not without reason the word "Burren" derives from the Irish "Boireann", standing for "stony place".
