Here is what Netscape says about its What's Cool Award: "The editors of What's Cool choose sites based primarily on great content and design, and flawless execution. We judge a site's content on personality, relevance, utility, and links, and a site's design on clarity, relevance, accessibility, and speed, and a number of other criteria. Sites that win an award are doing something right and are making the web an enjoyable and exciting experience for the Internet community."
Mooseworld by coincidence was given this award on its official launch date of October 1, 1999.
The BOTWEB (Best of the Web) seal is given after BOTWEB "carefully evaluates sites based on load time, ease of use, presentation, functionality and content. To earn the BOTWEB designation, a site must have a high overall rating. The site evaluation process is objective and stringent to ensure that users of BOTWEB can trust that a BOTWEB site is indeed among the best sites on the Internet in its category. That is our promise to you."
