Sightings in Vermont
"My wife and I live in Granville and often are visited by cows and bulls and their offspring. Our swimming pond is a favorite spot for one bull in particular. Since we share this idyllic spot with these beautiful animals we decided to call our home 'Moose Hollow.' John."
"I took some great photos of a moose cow very early one morning this past August while my wife and I were on vacation in northern Vermont. We sighted a total of three moose in the Averill-Norton area, just a stone's throw from the Canadian border. Vermont State Routes 114, 128, and 105 connect to form a 70-mile "Moose Viewing Loop" in the area! Amar."
"Here is a photo in our front yard in Manchester. I was on the phone with my wife the morning of July 3, 2007 when I looked out the window and saw this very large moose walking between our garage and house. Luckily I had my camera nearby and the moose was not in a hurry. He stayed around for awhile and was nice enoughto let me take some pictures! Michael and Denise."
