Onion Johnny

Roscoff, Finistére, Brittany, France, Europe
09/2010

A town's still life at a cosy Creperie in Roscoff. The coastal town was in former times an important trans-shipment center for pink onions with destination United Kingdom. With the nickname "Onion Johnny" Breton farmers sold these onions, which were hung on their bicycles - from door to door as well. Thus a really historic decoration.
