Eilean Donan Castle - Scotish Galeic "Eilean DonnĂ¡in" - is likely the most photographed castle in Scotland. The special "in art" representation at least gives it a new and maybe unique appearance. The castle was destroyed in the 18th century, the current picturesque view is the result of a reconstruction performed in the 20th century - the arched bridge was built during that period spanning from 1919 to 1932.
