Wind and sand usually pose a high risk for your camera gear (as regular visitor of Jutland's North Sea coast I have some experience, which I better would like to forget). But sand is more than a risk - sand formations are common on the coastline - and interesting variants can also be found on the vertical dune sections sometimes.
