847 - Ice - Eis

Ice structures can be fascinating. I found some nice ones during the first test of my new 100-400mm lens on a pond very close to where I grew up. How these forms develop I can't tell. Maybe a child throwing a stone onto the nearly frozen surface? However - it did well, and some contrast adjustments created what I had in mind.
