Sheep seemed to be omnipresent during our whole trip through the South-West of Norway - no matter if at sea level or the mountains, on the roads or in nature.
This pack of four was pretty high up in the mountains of Hordaland - close to the Saudavegen. In 900 meters above sea level the remains of snow piled up two meters at the roadsides - and it was August! I asked myself, how the landscape might look like in winter time.
I had to pay tribute for the photos I shot: Not only sheep were everywhere - also their droppings paved the muddy ground. We had to stop again after some kilometers to initiate a second shoe cleaning session using clean snow.
