Picture of the month - June 2015

Flag English Saint-Mathieu

Not the most obvious focus is always the best one for interesting photography.

When I visited the lighthouse "Phare de Saint-Mathieu" in Brittany's Finistére, I was amazed by the coastal landscape and the actually three lighthouses and a decayed abbey in such close vicinity. My family had quite some time at a nearby café unless I came back from my photographic excursion resulting in hundreds of pictures.

But one of my favorite images was formed on the way back home along the coast line when turning back a last time: The lighthouse in the back - out of focus in a vague memory behind a fence.

Any focus can be the right one,
