Porto Ercole is s small harbor village on the peninsula of Monte Argentario in Tuscany.
The numerous port restaurants had a wooden platform above the water and a coventional restaurant house on the other side of the harbor road. Of course we had chosen to sit on the water side on the platform area to enjoy our late dinner with a brilliant view to the boats and houses in the village. I remember, that the food was delicious.
After a standard double espresso (did I tell I am addicted to coffee?) I found time to explore the harbor - any harbor gives a vast amount of photographic opportunities. This time the wonderful contrast between the boldly colored houses and the water with the boats attracted more attention than the typical details I had seen in many other harbors before.
I also do not need to mention, that I love strong colors and therefore adjusted contrast and saturation and some other knovs to create the shown image. It is not an HDR in this case!
