Scotland in Art - Portfolio

Scotland in Art - Digitally altered images with less saturated colors and a high level of contrast. The third portfolio after the "Ireland in Art" and "Denmark in Art" selection of images.
Intention is not the pure joy at playing with the computer and trying every filter, as it's common since digital photography has entered the stage.

I hope actually the changes help expressing the mightiness of the landscapes, natural wonders and scenes even better than the original - it expresses what I felt.

It is an alienation leading more to an artwork I have in mind when taking the shoot. The essence of the original image is still there and unaltered, no objects are added or removed, so it's more like a darkroom work than digital manipulation. To be continued ...
