On the way back from an eventful medieval market in the Franconian Switzerland a grain field came into focus. Not because of the cereals, but the spread spots of color comprising of cornflowers and corn popies - some of my favorite plants. In one case both plants seemed to hug each other - the stems twisted together and the blossoms were in touch. Some selective de-saturation helped to focus on this unique friendship.
